Terms & Conditions of Sales of HmT Electrical hereafter referred to as HmT. a.) General Terms • Goods remain the property of HmT until payment is received in full. • Transport arrangement, cost and insurance will be for the client’s account. • For Non Account holders payment must reflect in HmT’s bank account before goods could be collected. Ensure that payment reflects and goods are ready for collection before arranging courier or self-collect. • Quotation valid for 30 days. o Due to the volatility in international exchange rates, prices should be checked prior of order placement. Where items are available ex-stock, they will be supplied at the quoted prices. However, where items must be imported, a price variance may occur due to a worsened exchange rate. • Goods cannot be returned after 14 (calendar) days. b.) Payment Terms • Non Account holders: Payment in advance. o Goods cannot be released until full payment reflects in bank account. o Bank account reconciliation is done ONCE a day at 10H00. Note that it could take time before payment reflects. Immediate payment will only be processed the following day at 10H00. o Please email Proof of Payment using Pro Forma invoice or quotation number as reference. Email address email@example.com • Account holders: 30 days nett. o In the event of late payment, monthly interest at the prime lending rate will be charged on the outstanding amount, where after 90 days all equipment will be removed from site at an additional cost. c.) Warehouse and Logistics • Goods are only permitted to leave the warehouse for: o Non Account holders when payment is received in full and reflects in HmT’s bank account. o Account Holders where account is in good standing and the amount is within the available credit limit. • Delivery/collection of goods, cost and insurance is for the client’s account. Inco terms Ex Works. • At the discretion of HmT goods could be delivered within 50km from HmT’s head office if the order amount is above R2,000.00 , the parcel is light (≤20kg) and not too big/bulky. d.) Warrantee • 1 (one) year repair warrantee on all goods unless the equipment manufacturer offers a longer period. • Warrantee null and void if serial number is removed from packaging or unit. • Warrantee null and void if unit is stripped in any way. • Warrantee excludes lightning strikes, over/under voltage, over/under current, voltage surges/spikes, voltage/current imbalances, liquid damage, damage by insects/bugs/small animals, build-up of dirt, dust, sooth, grime, etc., usage in places that are too hot, cold or humid. • All other warrantee conditions and exclusions as indicated by the equipment manufacturer. e.) Goods Return and Handling • All goods returned are subject to inspection and evaluation of the unit’s condition by HmT. • A 20% handling fee will be charged for any returned item in original packaging including original labelling. • A 30% handling fee will be charged when opened and not installed and/or packaging damaged and/or labelling on packaging and/or unit removed. • No return and credit/refund if used and/or installed and/or powered up. • No return and credit/refund on special imported units and/or custom-made units and/or units with customised modifications. • Motors are not refundable if correctly supplied as per your order. • Solar Panels, fuses, surge protectors, electrical wires, cables, brake resistors and pneumatic tubing cannot be returned for credit/refund. f.)
